This Privacy Policy explains how PACO-HVAC PRO collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services.
Information We Collect
Account & profile: name, email, phone, company name, role, license information, profile photo.
Customer & job data: customer names, contacts, addresses, job details, schedules, and notes you enter.
Equipment data: model, serial, refrigerant, electrical data, service history, and equipment photos.
Field media: photos, voice recordings, voice transcripts, and diagnostic session content.
Technical data: error codes searched, calculator inputs, diagnostic outputs, device identifiers, app version, and usage events needed to operate and improve the Service.
Why We Collect Data
To provide core field workflows (jobs, diagnostics, reports, invoices, sync).
To process photos and voice through secure backend services for OCR, speech-to-text, and guided assistance features.
To secure accounts, prevent fraud, support customers, and comply with legal obligations.
How We Use & Share Data
Data is used to deliver App features, sync across your authorized devices, generate PDFs, and support your company account.
We use service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, authentication, secure processing) under contractual safeguards. We do not sell personal information.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Data Storage & Security
Data is stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and access controls. Authentication tokens are stored securely on device.
No system is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and credentials.
Your Rights (U.S. & International Principles)
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, and to opt out of certain processing.
CCPA (California): California residents may request disclosure, deletion, and correction subject to legal exceptions. We do not sell personal information.
GDPR-style principles: where applicable, we process data on lawful bases such as contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability where applicable.
App Store & Google Play
We comply with Apple App Store and Google Play data safety disclosures. Permission prompts (camera, microphone, notifications) are shown before access. Sensitive processing is described in feature-specific notices.
Account Deletion
You may request account deletion in Settings > Legal > Delete Account. Upon confirmation, we process deletion of account-linked cloud data subject to legal retention requirements and backup cycles.
Local offline data on your device should be removed when you uninstall the App or use deletion tools provided.
